March is when we anticipate the Humane AI Pin to begin shipping. “Those who placed priority orders will receive their Ai Pins first when we begin shipping in March,” the firm announced on Friday via Twitter.
In the past, the business had projected that the screen-less wearable gadget will be ready to replace smartphones in “early 2024.”. The smartphone, which continues to be Apple’s main source of revenue, is seen by Bethany Bongiorno and Imran Chaudhri, co-founders of Humane, as being in its latter stages of development.
“The last era has plateaued,” Chaudhri reportedly said in a press event in November, according to TechCrunch. “A new way of thinking, a new sense of opportunity” is how he describes the wearable device that uses artificial intelligence.
We are thrilled to announce that Ai Pin will start shipping in March 2024.

In place of a screen, the Humane AI Pin (which retails for $699) uses voice commands and a projector to display pertinent information on the user’s hand.
The designers boast about the device’s contextual intelligence and privacy-focused design, saying it “quickly understands what you need, connecting you to the right AI experience or service instantly.”
“Access to some of the world’s most powerful AI models and platforms” is what the company describes as a result of its partnerships with OpenAI, Microsoft, etc.
The pin is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor and its software, Cosmos OS, is driven by a specialized Qualcomm AI Engine. It comes in three different colors, two of which cost an additional $100.
Designed as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) on top of T-Mobile’s network, the pin’s cellular data is available to buyers for $24 per month. The remaining orders will be shipped out in the sequence they were received, according to Humane, who also provided the March shipping date.
We will provide an update to this article whenever we hear back from the company on the expected shipment date of the current orders.
You can pre-order the Humane AI Pin right now on their website. Colorways such as Lunar (polished chrome on white) and Equinox (polished chrome on black) cost $799 and $699, respectively, while the Eclipse (matte black on black) is priced at $699.
