Bandai Namco put out the official patch notes for Tekken 8 Version 1.02.01, which include the time the new version will be available. The official time for the update to drop is February 28, around 6 p.m. PST for people in North or South America. There will be maintenance on the servers from 5:30 p.m. PST until midnight. During that time, you won’t be able to view or use any online content.

The Tekken Shop, which was already mentioned, will be one of the biggest new features in the game. It will have both free and paid things, such as character and avatar skins and items, which can be bought with the brand-new premium currency, Tekken Coins.
When the game comes out, there will also be a Uniqlo UT x Tekken partnership in the Tekken Shop. This will include free T-shirts for characters and avatars that are based on the real Tekken 30th anniversary shirts that Uniqlo sells in shops and online.
Bandai Namco is also taking action against people who are known to be cheating. These people will be taken off the leaderboards and have their ranks reset to Beginner. In the future, hackers and rage quitters may face harsher punishments.
In the update, changes will be made to Alisa, Asuka, Azucena, Bryan, Claudio, Dragunov, Feng, Hwoarang, Jun, Kazuya, King, Kuma, Panda, Lars, Law, Leo, Leroy, Lili, Nina, Raven, Reina, Victor, Xiaoyu, and Yoshimitsu.
Many of these are just fixes for bugs or problems that weren’t meant to be there. For example, Leroy’s dog Sugar got a Nerf that makes her hitbox disappear if the fighter takes damage before she hits. Due to changes being made to the battle system, replays from the current version of Tekken 8 will be removed and can’t be viewed again. At the same time, Super Ghost Battle data will be changed to reflect the current state of the game.
