Pokémon Legends Z-A Gameplay
We don’t know much about how Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be played. Based on Pokémon Legends: Arceus, we might be able to roam around big places and catch Pokemon without having to go to a menu. According to Nintendo, the game takes place fully in Lumiose City and the “Urban Redevelopment Plan” part of the video suggests that things may be different from the last Legends game.
Pokémon Legends Z-A Setting
Lumiose City is the main “big” city in the Kalos area from Pokémon X and Y. It is where Pokémon Legends: Z-A will take place.
Nintendo has been very clear about this, calling it “a new adventure set entirely within Lumiose City.” We see a slide in the trailer that says “Urban Redevelopment Plan – Lumiose City.” It has both futuristic-looking plans and older-style drawings that show how the city is structured.
It’s not clear what that means, but we’re sure we’ll see something besides Lumiose. But it seems to be exploring its world in a slightly different way than Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which lets us see a lot of the Sinnoh region, also known as Hisui, like the area around Mount Coronet.
Returning Pokémon In Pokémon Legends Z-A
As with any possible new Pokémon, we don’t have a full list of the guaranteed returning Pokémon for Legends: Z-A. However, the teaser video gives us a good idea of what they might be.
The video has a lot of Pikachu, but it also has a lot of Pokémon that were first seen in Pokémon X and Y. These include Litleo, Pyroar, Klefki, Flabébé, Hawlucha, Furfrou, Gogoat, Fletchling, Talonflame, Sylveon, Aegislash, and Espurr.
You can also see Pokémon from other generations, like Sandile, Krookodile, Pidgey, Pinsir, Heracross, Gyarados, Hippopotus, Emolga, and Dragonair. Naturally, this isn’t a full list, but we’ll make changes as soon as we hear more from TPC.
Mega Evolutions For Pokémon Legends
Mega Evolutions look like they’re coming back to Legends: Z-A. The Mega Evolution stone sign shows up for a short time at the end of the first video. The concept was first used in Generation VI’s X and Y, and it was used again in Generation VII’s Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. So we can expect it to come back here in the Kalos region. We don’t know what changes will be made or how they will be put into action.
