Memphis Garrett Divorce
TMZ was the first to report that Garrett, 41, and Abbott, 42, filed for divorce on March 1. A domestic violence case, which is described as a related case, was made just over a week before the move. It is still unclear who filed the case, and its state is still unknown. TMZ states the filing says the couple has “irreconcilable differences” and that Abbott should not get any alimony.
According to TMZ, Abbott had this to say about the breakup: “It is unfortunate that the actions and intentions of individuals involved in this situation have led to the exposure of personal and sensitive information.”

“I believe that matters of this nature should be resolved in a private and respectful manner,” she said. “I ask for privacy at this time to focus on my family.”
Garrett also said something about it in a different statement that was given to the news outlet. “My heart hurts. I did not want to have to file for divorce. I was doing everything in my power to work on our marriage. I only wish the very best in life for her and [her son] Loyal,” he said.
Before they met on Big Brother: All-Stars, the 22nd season of the CBS game show Big Brother aired in 2020, both Abbott and Garrett had been on Big Brother. Their engagement happened in June 2021, and their wedding was in May 2022.
Garrett wrote a sweet Valentine’s Day message to Abbott less than a month before the news of the split, “Happy Valentine’s Day babe! We choose love every day and I wouldn’t want it any other way. #final2forever.”
