Despite the end of the Christmas season, one winter custom remains. Once again, Las Vegas will be transformed into a paradise for tech-obsessed individuals thanks to CES. On January 8, one day before the formal opening of the CES displays, at 2PM PT / 5PM ET, Samsung will hold its annual press conference.
Attendees at CES 2024 in Las Vegas may keep up with Engadget’s coverage by tuning in to the livestream on Samsung’s Global Newsroom site. Since Samsung is a massive corporation with its fingers in practically every pie, you might be wondering what the main points of the news conference will be.
And the solution is already known to you. Machine learning. Impressively, the news release is subtitled “AI for All: Connectivity in the Age of AI,” which somehow fits the word twice.

What we expect
Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of Samsung’s DX (Device eXperience) Division, Jong-Hee Han, will be leading the event. Instead than addressing the details, Samsung has stuck to the broad concept of “AI for all.” Perhaps we will learn more about the upcoming chatbot Gauss, developed by the firm.
It has the ability to compose emails, code, and, well, you get the picture. But it can also do the neat thing of upgrading low-resolution photographs.
The Korea Times reports that the upcoming Galaxy S24 handsets would include Gauss, therefore CES 2024 would be an ideal opportunity to officially announce this. About a week from now, in the middle of January, you can expect to see the S24 line on store shelves.
It would be surprising if Samsung, which mainly makes hardware, devoted the entire keynote to artificial intelligence. At their press presentation last year, the business unveiled a wide range of products, including 8K televisions, MicroLED lights, and a smart oven with an internal camera. Regardless, the time we have to wait is really short.
